Product introduction
HPMC for Tile Adhesive contains other additives such as cement, sand and limestone to increase the adhesion of ceramic tiles. Tile Adhesive is a new modern decorative material used for attaching ceramic tiles, face tiles, floor tiles and other decorative materials. There are many different additives for tile adhesives, but cellulose ether additives are usually added to tile adhesives to improve water retention, thickening and open time.
Before using HPMC Tile Adhesive mix the powder with water at a ratio of 1:0.25-0.3 using an adhesive. Stir well until the adhesive is completely dry and ready for construction. Tile position can be adjusted within the allowed operation time (about 24 hours to fill in, heavy objects should be prevented from pressing on the surface of the tiles within 24 hours).
Construction grade hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is widely used in construction grade. For example, tile bonding, tile mortar.

HPMC cellulose has a variety of properties such as thickening, water retention, dispersion, emulsification, film-forming, adhesion, gelling, adsorption, etc. HPMC has good effect in tile adhesion, which can improve the anti-slip, water retention, open time, viscosity and strength of the tile adhesive. Due to the high water resistance of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, there is no need to pre-soak or wet the tiles and substrates, which significantly improves bond strength. The slurry can be applied for a longer period of time with easy and uniform application. Fine texture and good anti-slip performance.HPMC has the functions of thickening, bonding, dispersing, emulsifying, PH stabilizing, film-forming, suspending, adsorption, gelation, surface activation, water retention and protection of colloid.

Note: After opening , the unused HPMC must be sealed to avoid moisture from air contact.
